The Snowman Trek in Bhutan stands out as one of the most exquisite journeys in the entire Himalayas. Renowned for its formidable challenges in terms of altitude, duration, and distance, this alpine expedition sees far fewer adventurers completing it compared to those who conquer Mount Everest in Nepal. Traversing the northern regions of Bhutan along the border with Tibet, this trek entails crossing thirteen majestic Himalayan mountain passes, some soaring as high as 5230 meters. Commencing with the initial leg of the trek following the well-trodden paths of the Jumolhari and Laya-Gasa routes until Laya, you’ll be rewarded with awe-inspiring vistas of Mount Jumolhari, Jichu Drake, Masangang, Tiger Mountain, Gangkar Puensum, and numerous other prominent peaks adorning the northern frontier.
